小学生の頃に漫画字が流行り、その独特な文字の可愛らしさに夢中になって書いていました。 幼稚園から書道をしていたので、type A “公の場で使う書道の字”と、type B “友達に手紙を書く時の漫画字”の、２つを使い分けていました。おかげで、書道の字にも独特の癖が付いてしまいましたが、今となってはそれもご愛嬌。イベントのポップを書く時などは、漫画字の方がインパクトがあり雰囲気が出せます。今でもイラストに入れる文字は自然と漫画字になります。今となっては、この様に2通りの字体を書ける事は私の長所です。

When I was in elementary school, cartoon characters were all the rage, and I was fascinated by the cuteness of their unique script. Since I had been practicing calligraphy since kindergarten, I used two different types of characters: type A “calligraphy characters for public occasions” and type B “cartoon characters for writing letters to friends. Thanks to this, I developed a peculiar habit in my calligraphy, but now it is a charm. When writing event pop-ups, for example, the cartoon characters have more impact and atmosphere. Even now, I naturally use cartoon characters when I write characters for illustrations.Nowadays, being able to write in two different styles is one of my strengths.
